We are a results-based five-star rated marketing company.
At Fishnet, we believe business is more than profit—it’s a calling. Together, we are passionate about helping business owners thrive by uncovering their true identity, purpose, and God-given vision for their work. We partner with leaders to develop effective marketing strategies, measure returns with clarity, and set them up for long-term success that multiplies far beyond the balance sheet.
When we’re not building strategies in the marketplace, our hearts are rooted in ministry and discipleship. Our greatest joy is helping others discover a life of abundance—spiritually, personally, and professionally.
Family is at the center of everything we do. We cherish time with our beautifully blended family—Gabe, Noah, Jonah, Gideon, Asher, and Emma—and we consider the love and lessons of family life as part of what shapes our business values.
In our spare time, we love the freedom of the open road—riding motorcycles, camping, and following wherever the Lord and the wind lead us.
I grew up in Clark, South Dakota, but just days after graduation I set out for something bigger. That summer I worked at Valleyfair, and soon after enrolled at St. Cloud State University with plans to major in graphic design and minor in set design. While I loved the creative path, I realized that spending four years in school wasn’t the quickest way to break into the industry. I wanted to move faster—so I transferred to Brown College, a smaller, focused school where I could earn my degree in less than two years and get into the field right away.
In 2003, I graduated from Brown College on the Dean’s List with an Associate’s Degree in Visual Communications. That same year, I launched my own design business—what started as “Christy Beving’s Graphic Design & Printing” later evolved into “Phoenix Web Design,” “Downtown Design, LLC,” and today, Fishnet Marketing, LLC.
In the early years, I worked multiple jobs—graphic design, prepress, and 3D rendering for point-of-purchase displays—while building my business until it could sustain itself. Over time, my entrepreneurial drive led me to start additional ventures, including a restaurant, an apparel company, and a nonprofit organization.
I’ve also served on boards that let me give back to both business and community: Clark Area Chamber of Commerce (2019–2021), Tea Area Chamber of Commerce (2022–2025), and currently Honorbound Motorcycle Ministry (2024–Present) and Hope Harbor (2025–Present).
Through every chapter, one theme stands out: I love creating, building, and helping others grow—whether through design, marketing strategy, or community leadership.

I grew up in Kettering, Ohio—a suburb of Dayton—and after graduating high school, I felt a clear pull toward ministry and leadership. That calling led me to Minneapolis, where I attended North Central University. In 1997, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Children & Family Ministries, laying the foundation for a career that would span more than two decades.
Over the next 20+ years, I served as both a kids’ pastor and lead pastor in Ft. Worth, Chicago, and Sioux Falls. Those years provided hands-on leadership experience—building teams, managing budgets, casting vision, and leading organizations through growth and change. Ministry gave me a deep understanding of people, culture, and the power of clear communication, especially during seasons of transition and challenge.
Along the way, I developed strong skills in technology, graphic design, branding, and marketing. I learned how strategy, storytelling, and digital tools support vision and move people to action—skills that continue to shape my work today and influence how I approach problem-solving and collaboration.
In 2020, I stepped away from full-time ministry to launch The Mark Ministries, a nonprofit focused on coaching the next generation of leaders to discover their identity, clarify purpose, and set meaningful goals. This work allowed me to invest deeply in people beyond the walls of the church.
In 2021, I joined Fishnet Marketing, LLC as an Account Executive, bringing together my experience in ministry, leadership, and marketing to help clients grow their businesses with clarity, confidence, and long-term vision—building successful strategies designed to last.
